It goes without saying weddings Flowers are a part of any florists calendar. Some wedding planned a year or more ahead & some a few months ahead.

A couple of recent weddings; although something between days to plan & months to plan, were lovely ‘last minute’ events in terms of wedding flowers.

With spring a breath away (on a bright winters day!) one bride choose a love of daffodils to be her flower of choice. Daffodils, such a popular flower; yet the range in colour, shape and scent is so pleasing.

A simple hand-tied bouquet of strong yellow buds just opening to withstand a warm   ceremony room, along with a button hole of narcissus tete a tete with beautiful classic ivy.  A small vase of stems in varying height and size sat on the ceremony table to link the minimal details perfectly.

Another request for last minute wedding flowers had different ingredients but elements of classic beauty just the same. Proving minimal need not be dull and scarce, pretty & celebratory ticked the boxes perfectly.

Pretty pink pastels perfectly cheering on a dusk late winters afternoon. Coincidentally, a theme of fern foliage followed into another floral event the same week, more of which I shall expand upon in another post.
